When I set out to create an autopilot income system, several years ago, I had no idea how to do it. I bought many courses about online selling, affiliate marketing and building online businesses. I was inspired to do so after having purchased an ebook from eBay, over 10 years ago. It seemed like the perfect autopilot income system – to sell a digital downloadable product from the internet. Many people use the model of affiliate marketing to do just that – profit from the things people buy online every day all around the world.

Before I found affiliate marketing I tried many other strategies to make money online. I started out buying and selling on eBay. But I soon realised that the strategy I used wasn’t able to be automated, or scaled up to a global audience. I bought an ebook which taught this strategy. The ebook sale was simple: I paid online and was able to download the book instantly. This was the strategy I couldn’t let go of and which ultimately led me to the strategy I share later in this article.
As good as affiliate marketing is as a business model, it’s only as good as the affiliate using it. It’s very easy to fail as an affiliate when starting out. There’s plenty of pitfalls and it’s easy to make a lot of mistakes as an affiliate.
But the business model of affiliate marketing is the best I’ve found overall, after trying lots of other strategies.
Blogging And Google Adsense
When I first looked at online courses which claimed to teach autopilot income systems, I found this strategy; blogging and Google Adsense. By creating a blog you can attract website visitors. You can then monetise your content with adverts which are created by Google to suit your particular content. You only earn a tiny amount from each advert click, so you need a huge amount of website traffic to earn from this strategy. This is possible, but it takes a lot of time and effort to make it work successfully.
Blogging can be profitable through using Adsense. However, I found affiliate marketing to be much more profitable. Affiliates can blog too, and make money by selling other people’s products through a blog. Most bloggers use email marketing in conjunction with their blogs. They collect their visitors’ email addresses by giving away something useful from their website. Then, they market affiliate products to their subscribers.
Autopilot Income System – What’s The Best Strategy?
The best strategy I’ve found with affiliate marketing is to use a combination of factors which maximise your earning potential:
- Use Digital products – Digital products can be accessed from anywhere globally making them cheap to deliver and giving you a global customer base. Digital products also pay more than physical products typically – 40% compared to 3-10%
- Use a product range, not just a single product. Single products pay you only once. With a product range, you can refer a customer once, and benefit from later products purchased by existing customers. With a good business model you can benefit also from a built in sales team, who close sales on your behalf.
- Use recurring commission affiliate programs. With recurring commissions, you can earn a regular ongoing income from each sale. As your membership numbers grow, so does your income.
- Use high ticket programs which offer larger than average commissions. With a high value product, you can earn upwards of $1000 per sale, rather than $40 per sale as with a lower value product. This helps you earn a positive return on investment and opens up more possibilities for using paid marketing platforms to advertise.
- Multi-tier sales – multi-tier sales allow you to earn from sales made by your referrals. It encourages affiliates to help the people they have referred and rewards them for the success of their members.

Autopilot Income System – Marketing A Sales Funnel
Once you have invested in a high ticket sales funnel, you have all of these benefits to earn from. Once you are set up, you’ll need to market your funnel. This can be done in a number of ways including:
- Paid marketing – using paid marketing platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Google, Bing, Yahoo, Instagram etc
- Blogging – a blog can help you generate free leads and sales. This takes longer than using paid marketing but is obviously cheaper.
- Video blogging – some affiliates create YouTube videos to generate traffic into their sales funnel.
- Social media marketing – Social media platforms can be used for both paid marketing tactics and free strategies too.
