Autopilot Affiliate Program – Truth Or Fiction?

The idea of an autopilot affiliate program is pretty attractive. All you need to do is purchase the tools, landing pages and software and hey presto – an income stream! But do the programs which over promise on this always under deliver? In many cases yes.

I’ve purchased many courses which have promised a lot and underdelivered. Some have lived up to their expectations and some haven’t. But the idea of an autopilot business system can be dangerous, even if there is some truth in it. Take a look at some of the courses I have found over the years in my article digital profit course review.

A typical autopilot affiliate program might offer a number of things you can benefit from as an affiliate. But you need to know that a business will still need time and effort to run, even if the processes and systems can work by themselves.

A system which claims to be a “push button” system can often entice vulnerable people in who think building an online business will be easy. It’s most definitely not the case. Particularly now when you need to know so much when operating advertising campaigns online, for example.

Most advertising platforms won’t let you use generic landing pages from an affiliate business model. This means you need to build your own. Even with landing page software, you need to know the rules and carefully display terms and conditions, disclaimers and understand the ins and outs of a certain marketing platform.

If you don’t know all this, it’s easy to get shut down. And marketing is just one element of an online business.

The Good News

But let’s not be all doom and gloom here. There’s some truth in the idea. This site is, after all, called autopilot money making software. Software intended to automate an online business includes things such as autoresponders, advertising platforms, websites and landing pages.

So automating an online business is of course very possible and achievable. But there are many courses which promise it to be much easier than it actually is. If you’re looking for an ‘autopilot’ affiliate program, be careful that your intention might be to find something ‘easy’ and you may be disappointed.

When I started out looking for online business ideas and opportunities several years ago, I found all sorts of “push button” systems. Many of which claimed to be easier “than the others”. In nearly every case I was disappointed. Partly because the courses were mis-sold and had exaggerated claims. But also partly because I expected some ease to earn money online.

It was only after I had let go of this false expectation that I actually started earning some money on the internet.

What’s Included In A Real Affiliate Program?

Choosing a good affiliate program can be the difference between success and failure as an affiliate. Even with a legitimate program, success isn’t guaranteed. Affiliate marketing is a legitimate business model; but if you don’t sell any products you won’t make any money. So forget the “quick riches” mentality. Bring this mentality to any online business system and strategy and it’s likely you’ll miss a step or plain get it wrong.

You need to use a systemised approach and study with a good program over the long term. A good program should be able to offer you real actual people to connect and link up with. Obviously one-to-one coaching is the best way to learn. Having an affiliate marketing mentor to work with you on a variety of topics can be the most helpful. This might include topics such as:

  • Mindset issues – Even with a proven system people fail. This is often down to limiting beliefs and internal issues relating to success.
  • Technical problems – technical problem can hold people back from succeeding online. These can be things like setting up an advertising campaign or building a website.
  • Time management/focus – if you have a very busy life, it can be difficult to fit in time for your online business. Don’t be fooled, building an online business takes time and effort.

Best Software To Look For With An Affiliate Program

Another thing to look for in an affiliate program is what it includes. Ideally you want to be able to build an online business as fast as possible. That means building a sales funnel and having a range of digital products to sell. Why digital products? Because they pay the largest commissions and offer the most value to your customers.

With recurring commission affiliate programs you’re offering lifetime value in your products. This gives you the affiliate a regular monthly income from each sale. It should also give the customer massive value. If it fails to do so, they won’t be customers for very long!

A good program will have everything you need as an affiliate. These are things such as software, products, training and an online community to learn from and ask questions directly. The more you pay, the more help and attention you can tap into. Access a recommended program by signing up on this site for the free video series.
